1938 Lyman 15' Outboard/Runabout
Hull #9123. The boat has been in our family since the 1960s and has been boathouse kept. I restored the boat two years ago. It appears all the wood (except for the steering wheel mount) is original including the hull, bottom, decks, seats, and floorboards. I think the steering was added early on in the boats life. The hull is tight with no leaks. All the hardware is polished brass. We have used a couple different motors. Presently, it has a 1933 Johnson OA-65 on it that runs good. We have showed the boat twice at the Clayton Antique Boat Show. It has won Best Outboard Boat and Motor Display and Best Preserved Antique Outboard Boat and Motor. The boat sits on an a good trailer with good bearings, tires, and lights. The cover is custom made and fitted to the boat. Please call or email for more details and pictures of this pre-war classic.
